Who We Are

Angel Gabriel Aeronautics is a private air charter company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Since 2013, we have been connecting travellers with Southern Africa's most remarkable destinations — from the Big 5 reserves of the Greater Kruger to the elephant herds of Botswana's Tuli Block, and everywhere in between.

We work with a network of over 30 vetted operators and aircraft types across the region. This gives us a unique advantage — we are not tied to a single fleet, schedule, or pricing structure. Our core business is arranging private charter flights for safari lodges, tour operators, corporate clients, and leisure travellers. But over the years our offering has grown well beyond flights:

Over a Decade of Experience

Since launching in 2013, we have arranged thousands of charter flights across Southern Africa. We have built and operated four branded air taxi services — the Limpopo Valley Air Taxi, Malatu Express, Mara-Dikwe Air Taxi, Kruger Express, and Delta Express — all of which reached profitability and were only suspended by COVID-19, not by any failure of the model.

That experience translates into practical knowledge that matters: we know which airstrips flood in the wet season, which operators are reliable under pressure, which lodges have the best ground transfers, and how to navigate cross-border customs into Botswana and Mozambique without delays. It is the kind of knowledge that only comes from doing this work, on these routes, year after year.

Safety First

Every operator in our network holds a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) or the equivalent authority in their country of registration. We verify certification, maintenance records, and crew qualifications before any operator enters our network — and we continue to monitor compliance on an ongoing basis.

We do not cut corners on safety to save costs. If an aircraft or operator does not meet our standards, we do not use them, regardless of price. Our clients trust us with their families, their executives, and their guests — and that trust is non-negotiable.
